About

In short, I am a queer feminist knitting English grad student.

In not-short, I am a fierce femme in love with the cutest dimpled FTM philosophy student this side of the Ohio River. We got together almost three years ago after I wowed him with my big brain in a feminist philosophy class and taught him to knit. (No, it doesn’t get any better than that.) We have three very naughty cats and are currently living in a truly wicked little town while we we’re working on our MA’s. My graduate work is an amalgamation of theories of the queer, feminist, and rhetorical varieties. I also teach freshman English (and enjoy it). I’m a radical feminist. I’m angry and I’m funny. I’m also an obsessed knitter, a novice sewer, and sweet-ass baker. Crafts are where it’s at, baby. (Except for scrap-booking, which I have an unfettered bias against.) This blog is meant to be about all of these things.

My Ravelry name is RighteousFemme. Be my friend, bitch.
